Hi , was wondering if anyone can help.
Very new to the hobby, wanting to purchase an external filter, have 95l tank , internal filter very noisy and don't think it's that great to be honest.
Have checked out Tetratec and aquaone 700 and 750.
I don't want to much of a current as keeping Lemon Tetras and some Corys just now ,gopefully adding a trio of Aggassiz's or Borreli's and maybe some Black Phantom Tetras, anyway the only ones my local dealer stock are Eheim. If I want it soon my price range dictates 130 (£59) or 300 (£79), I have £20 credit at the dealer also.
Has anyone had any experience with these filters and are they suitable for my size of tank?

In got a 125L with a tetratec ex1200,

what about the 600 version, ehiem are at the top too, but iv seen posts with a few to watch out for.

i had a fluval 205 and leaked after a few days so i changed to tetratec and never looked back

ps you might be better off posting in the hardware section :good:

Cheers for the info. Still finfing my way round the site. Would that be tetratec600? They look easy to set up and use...... Cheers again..... :good:

Go for the 700 or 1200 - they are not much more expensive and I am definitely in the buy more filter than you need school.

Exactly , was just looking at the 700 , extra 10-15 depends which site , would it not be to powerful , is there a way to control the flow , very new to this , would the fish be swimming against it or be ok??????

you can control the flow with the out tap...but my embers are fine with a ex 700 with 1 segment of the spray bar...there not that powerful
