External Filter Setup

Im thimking of replacing the internal filter from my juwel 125 with a fluval205/305.Would i have to modify the tank lid to accomadate the filter tubes and is the process easy?
Lastly are fluval filters quiet?

Hey, I have a Juwel 125 and what happens with the fluval 205 is it fits in the grooves at the back which you have right? However it doesn't fit perfectly and causes the lid to be raised a little bit on the back panel. Not unsightly but will leak light out.

I have used a Fluval 205 on my Juwel 125 and personally I wouldn't say it was good enough if anything go for the 305. Installation is pretty straight forward any problems the manual will have the solution!

Just make sure if you're removing the internal filter that you move as much of the sponge over to the new filter to prevent any issues.

Why is the 205 not suitable... Just curious at your comment.. As I have one for my lido 120 .. And 3 days later.. I am finding my water clearer... I am running the internal as well...
