External Filter Recommendations Please?

my new tank is slowly coming together but now i have decided to add a 2nd external filter ..
my tank is 4ft juwel tank already have a fluval 305 up running the tank is going to be a well planted tank thats my aim..
i was going to add a internal filter but now after speaking to someone helpful decided go external anyone recommend a good at a fair price external filter for me or should i just add another fluval 305 any advice and thoughts would be appreciated thanks u

was on ebay and saw pond external filters white things new say do 1ooolph but are half price off a fluval ect has anyone used these ?if so what like are they or best just paying the extra

All Pond solutions filters are cheap they don't just do pond filters some people have had trouble with them that I have heard but then others haven't I wouldn't know as I haven't set mine up yet

ok so have u went got one off them pond ones i take it ? when u planning settting it up i also saw a old thread people saying the tetratec1200 was good and that was quiet cheap its going be a 2 nf filter anyway but rather have a quiet decent one that was all as tank is in living room

Tip Scott cheers I actually being reading back some threads and there was a few folk mentioned that was shocked at price aswell found it to be reasonable so reckon with that and my fluval 305 that be good filtration in my tank

Eheim classic is my budget option. A pain to clean but good filters.

Take a little care with pond filters, as they tend to be less fussy about noise, and a motor running in your living room needs to be quiet.

Ok well thanks as well good point about pond filter and noise as can't have that in living room .. As for the other one I will have a look at them as well so will deff be between tetrarec1200 and this one I guess so thanks . That will be filters sorted so once up and going will start getting plants ect in thanks everyone advice really appreciated
