External Filter 205 Or 305? For 180 Litres

Hi All,

I have a 180 Litre Tank and am looking to upgrade filter to an external, i'm currently looking at the Fluval 205, but have read some reviews saying the flow is not the fasted so was thinking of maybe buying the 305. does anyone have experience with these?also is there better equipment out there for the same price range?

Hagen 205 External Filter or the 305 version ?

The 205 would be fine. The flow is very nice and gentle. The 305 would be better and the 405 better still. If you can source a 405 for a decent price second hand then this would be better
