Experience With Fully Grown Barbs?

Hey everyone.

I have looked on the internet and seen that rosy barbs can grow to 6 inches! Odessa Barbs to about 4 inches. I would just like to know if you have had any experience with keeping either of these fish, and what size they actually got to. I cannot beleive rosys get to 6 inches, even 4 inches sounds too big. So im just interested in peoples actual experience with these fish.

I have 6 of each barb with cories, a RTBS and gouramis in a 36 by 18 by 18 inch tank with plants, wood and a couple of rocks. Ehiem 2215/2217 filter and 60W of light.

My neighbour has rosy barbs- they're certainly not smaller than 4 inches.

Ive seen Rosy Barbs around the 4-5" mark.
