Expecting a power struggle soon

I’m expecting a sift in the hierarchy soon
My female electric blue acara has been well established as the tank boss for around a year now and takes the role perfectly being fairly passive and not very confrontational,
But I have severum in that tank one already larger in length and far more stocky maybe twice the mass of the eba , I know the sev is still classed as juvenile and won’t even stand its ground against the eba just swims as fast as it’s fat body will swim but I know this will change the sev is gain size each week and eventually will be twice the size of the eba , so I’m hoping to smooth the transition as much as possible, how hve people felt with a change in hierarchy that could end bad ? Or is there a possibility that the change never happens been the sev has grew from a few cm in this tank , iv grew very found of this severum and obviously my electric blue acara ha been with me a while so wouldn’t want to separate the fish
There is zero aggression currently just like to plan for the future before it starts

You might not have an issue I’ve had fish grow bigger than the tank boss and nothing changes raising fish drum young really helps hierarchy establish. If the severum was breeding it might be different because there’s more involved.

I was hoping that would be the case as it has no interest in trying to be dominant it could probably take over the tank now but is more interested in eating everything, I just fear the worst outcome as this particular eba stood nose to nose with that nasty Oscar I had ,it has no intentions in going down without a fight
