I cant see what the difference is between these backgrounds and the jewul ones except the price. Will these be ok for fish tanks? I hope so cus iv just bought one :/
I was in the process of making one out polyfoam and polystyrene after watching tutorials on how to make them. This exo terra one is made out of polystyrene so i assumed it would be ok :/ i dont want to kill my fishys, help!

i have heard of people using them without issues, although I haven't myself.

Well I just bought four 60x60 exo terra backgrounds for my next tank. Just under 9 pounds each from Surrey online pets so will let you know what they are like when I get them. How are you going install them ? I'm hoping to leave a space behind for the filters and equipment and cut out holes for vents

Well i have an internal filter so i was considering siliconing it to that bk of the tank and cutting out a space for the filter and trying to hide the filter with plants to make it look half decent. Iv seen filter covers but they want £25 for them an i only paid £18 for the background. In n ideal world id have external filter and all pipes hidden but just dont have the space. Keep me updated as to how you get on with yours, n il let you know if mine is any good when it eventually turns up
