Exercising Your Shrimp...

its not really nessary, how many people here have unhealthy shrimp? they dont do that in the wild. shrimp ares suppose to have to do that. i think is cruel.

why is it so cruel? I've seen the same done to ants and other insects to help study the way they move. I agree it's unnecessary if it isn't for a study but it's not so bad. there was probably someone with there finger hovering over the stop button incase the shrimp looked like it was in trouble. I don't think it's so bad.

Very funny though. I wonder how many shrimp on a treadmill it would take to light a lightbulb?! :)

I don't think the shrimp would move the treadmill. He'd probably move across it since he's underwater.

personally id like to see the owner stuck on a treadmill & forced to run whether he/she likes it or not!!!!!!

I can't argue with that. All I can say is that suring the scientific tests they probably don't make the animal run for extended periods (unless it's an endurance test I guess) I guess I should have emphasized the word so in my first post. The shrimp probably didn't enjoy it but it's better than pulling it's legs of or lot's of other really cruel things I've seen done. I'd say it's not nice but I wouldn't classify it as cruel.

Now that's just silly!
I agree
