Exciting Trip to the Fish Store

This piece of driftwood is bigger than my 29 gallon aquarium. I hope I can fit it into my 55. Might have to take it apart and replace once in the tank.

It cost me $59.99. Worth it!

Totally worth it! $60 seems about right for a piece of that size/look. Most amount of money I've ever spent on driftwood, was $20. :look:

So I got 5 each of the Longfin Leopard Danio for the long 30 gallon and Pygmy Cories for the 25 Hex. I also got a trio of Peppermint Platy for my now empty 25 gallon.

Fish keeping is addictive....LOL
In the past, I kept trying different species of fish...
But now I kept mostly shrimps, crabs and some small fish...

You’re telling me... apparently freshwater wasn’t exciting enough for me, so I just had to get a saltwater tank... ?

You are right man...LOL
Even the fish store staff told me to convert to saltwater fish.
And if I don't keep corals, probably I don't need RO water and chiller.
Now you have colour TV(marine tank) instead of black and white TV with your saltwater tank...

But when my colleague told me that he buy about 20-25kg of salt every 9 months, I had to think twice before keeping the saltwater tank.
And if I have to be away from my house for 7-10 days, it will be a problem unless I get an auto water top up to maintain the salinity level.

If I go on vacation, I will definitely need a auto top off for mine. I don’t think they are that expensive.

I thought about doing a saltwater, but decided to hold off until I have a bigger place. As we can all tell by now, I can't have just one tank and my impulse control is nonexistent when it come to fiah.

I was almost in the same position today when I stupidly went in "just to take a look".

I managed to limit my spending to just a few nerites, although I nearly caused a multiple person pile up when I spotted the pair of Apistogramma Panduro that they had in stock.

Sometimes impulse control really is no fun at all.
