Excitement

Everyday I come to work, sit at my desk, start my computer and prepare for another day. Some are good, some are bad. I wait for lunch, hoping it comes soon..

Now I have a new schedule. As soon as I sit down at my desk, I'm greeted by a very happy friend who's missed me during the night as much as I have missed him. I watch him dance around his tank while he waits for me to pull out his food. While I wait for my computer to boot, I put my face up near the glass and he swims over to say hi.

I really must say this is so much fun. I'm really excited to get him moved into his new mansion this weekend! I hope he'll be happy. Thanks everyone for all the tips and info you've given me in the last day. I'll get some pictures up when I have him moved in.

wow he sounds like a sweetheart i know how exicting it could be to have a new friend around the office makes the day go by faster maybe you'll get addicted (like me), and start buying bettas to put in your house

they are strange fish, but i like how they knwo when your there and get exciteda bout it none of my other fish does that

I wish I could keep a fish at work! My friend and I buy fish during lunch (you know you're an addict when... ) and then have to keep them at our desk for the remainder of the day. It seems to brighten the day and then you take them home and then work's not the same when you come back the next day. (I'm still working on getting my boss to have a department tank, but I don't think it's working! )
