Yah, when my little brother first put it on, I thought the fish would at least have a little bit of room... But no, I guess not. I'm thinking that its just one of those normal American minnows that you see EVERYWHERE....

While I feel bad for watching it and effectively contributing to monetising the guy, I think it's only fair to to point out the guy's hobby is clearly fishing and not aquariums. If anything he was parodying certain other youtubers. There was no suggestion the fish was "kept" in such conditions, yes it was extremely cruel, but perhaps no more so than the torture any fish goes through during the sport of angling.

I suspect half of you you will cancel me now, as nowadays nuance and humour is never allowed, things are always only in black or white.

He makes money from the advertising featured on his channel. He doesn't care about any actual 'influence' he may or may not have, but he does know that more views = more dosh.
If he applied any thought to the consequences of his activity, he would've known that many of the not-so-clever would seek not only to copy him, but to out-do him and to then put their own efforts onto YouTube.

He clearly didn’t keep the fish in there, but he encouraged it. Unfortunately 10 views will Not make much difference to the amount of money he makes. If anything, discussing these types of videos on here is hopefully helping some non members who stumble across this thread to know it’s not ok
