I have 2 tanks, I have 1 mature male BN in one tank, and 3 young BN's in the other(Not sure of their sex at the moment).

I'm just curious as to what exactly I should be feeding them for a healthy diet? Both tanks have ample bog wood in them, and I try to feed them either zucchini and/or sweet potato at least twice a week. Plus I also drop in sinking algae pellets usually every night(They're supposed to be more for the Cory's, but the plecos end up going for them as well.

I'm just curious to know if this is a good feeding regimen, or if I should be feeding them more, or less, or if I should mix and other vegetables into their diet?

I feed mine, flake, corgette, cucumber, catfish pellets, high protein food, king british pellets, bloodworm, lobster eggs, brineshrimps, daphnia, and whatever else i can get my hands on lol...

ps, i only use frozen bloodworm, brineshrimp, daphnia and lobster eggs.

Your feeding regime is pretty good, however they should be getting more fruit/ veges than they are. If possible give them some each day along with the algae wafers. Feed the dry wafer food in the morning and the pumpkin, zucchini, etc in the evening, (or vice versa).
You can also leave the tank lights on for longer to encourage algae to grow on the glass and ornaments. Then they can feed on that too. Alternatively, put some smooth river rocks in a bucket of water out in the sun. When they get covered in algae put the rocks in the tank.

The main thing to watch out for is keeping the tank clean. The more food you feed, the more mess they will make. Make sure you do a partial water change and gravel clean each week.

For awhile I was only turning on the tank lights on for an hour or so a day, but lately i've started turning them on around midday, and leaving them on till i'm ready to go to bed.
Keeping the tank clean is a big problem I have when it comes to feeding them the zucchini, as it very quickly clouds up the water, which is why lately i've been feeding them more sweet potato then anything. I do 25% water changes in both tanks roughly every 4 or 5 days though.
