Ewwww Its Gone Brown :(

I see peoples tanks and see nasty brown sand and since moving it I have just seen I have it I am gutted, it looks gross. Can I just move the sand around to shift it and make it look better?
It looks like this, its worse behind the rock...

when mine does this i just sift the sand a bit, but gonna get a conch to do that now

It just means the end of a mini cycle as far as I know.. mine all disappeared shortly after!

haha of course! Its hard fishy as cant afford to as its not something I actually want in my tank. I wil hope it goes away then if yours did! I only noticed it yesterday!

Oh and my chaeto is getting on my nerves. Its falling apart as its loose in the tank, I have no bag for it, so its growing everywhere, its on my powerheads too, might just chuck it out! lol

i cant afford it tbh, but i want em in my tank.
i have my cheato in a mesh breeder hidden, i get a few bits growing from rock which i dont like much, but its gone now

if its indeed brwon, then yes, normal diatoms and your cuc will take care of it - however that looks red to me?
