Every 2 weeks I get a visit from 2 lovely little old ladies who drop off the watchtower mag, they are really sweet little old ladies too and saw Chops when I first got him. Yesterday they came by to drop off the mag and asked how Chops was doing, so I invited them in to see the brute. One of the ladies walks with a stick. In front of Chops's tank at the moment is a stand for a rio 400 (just waiting to set him up a bigger tank). The 2 ladies leaned on the stand to look in the tank, bear in mind they last saw Chops when he was a skinny 4" tiddler. So they were looking for a small fish. I saw he was at the back of the tank, the devil was hiding behind the bogwood, so turned on the light for the ladies to get a better look and as they leaned closer to the tank and the monster charged the glass, full gill flare, mouth wide open and hit the glass biting it. The poor ladies nearly jumped out of their skins, the lady dropped her stick and nearly went over, then they left really quickly.
I have never seen him do that to someone before, he has flared at me if I have been to slow with food. I dont think they will come in again
