so today i went to the LFS and got a group of 6 black skirt tetras and a bolivian ram. so now i have...
10 tiger barbs - juvenile
6 black skirt tetras - full grown
1 bolivian ram - almost full grown
1 red tailed black shark - juvenile
everyone seems to be getting along fine except at feeding time, when the tetras(which are almost full grown) snatch up all the food and chase away any of the barbs(which are much younger and smaller) who try to get some. but i'm really worried about the ram and the shark, who just hang out at the bottom of the tank, i never see them eating.
is there any way i can make sure everyone gets food? will the ram and shark get in the mix when they get hungry enough, or are they just going to feed on scraps? any ideas would be much appreciated.
thanks!
