even though its a bowl...its kinda nice

what are yalls opinions on this setup? i found this pic as i was browsing the internet.
it does have one of those awful lillie plants in there but i htink the bowl is about a gallon and the betta seems to have enough access to air. im not sure what all the junk in the bottom is though...

EDIT: now that i look again, i think thats less than a gallon. hmm...if it were bigger it would be nice though

That doesn't look too bad for a set up, honestly.. I would give it a bigger bowl, but I have two fish that are quite happy in .5 gallons (until I can relocate to larger tanks, which is in the agenda) but they don't have much in the way of decorations. (These fish tend to not like it anyway, they have always avoided their plants for some reason.)

In a 1 gallon though, that would be quite pretty, and humane for the fish.

My sister has a similiar setup, only a bigger bowl with glass stones at the bottom and a differently shaped vase. Her betta loves it, and is going on his 4th year with her, I believe.
