I really like this heater and i would like to buy it but.... i cant find one in europe.

Can any one direct me to a shop in europe?? I know it most likly isnt 220 but i can fix that.

With a heater that size you are going to need a fair bit of water movement to get an even temperature. Is this for the arch tank?

ya if you look at this link half waydown the artical you will see my plan for distribution or the water.

the tubes you see will have loads of little holes drilled into it. so this should do it.

Just one heater? wouldnt it be safer to go with a few heaters to not only distribute... but to add safty?

IMO I would have 2 sets of Pumps / heaters on different fuses.... little bit of extra work/space for such a big project. this would also not only help distribute heat but also water flow.

no not just 1 heater im looking for 2 heaters at 1000W to insert in my inline heater that i have made or 4 x 300W or 350W as there is 4 slots for heaters.

Well, that is the manufactures site.. they do have a list about 20 stores that cary their products (non neer my home). I started to go to one site and they did not have the monster heater listed. Perhaps you could follow the links and look for a store that carys it. If none of them have it listed I would be happy to call some of them for you and see if they can get it special ordered. I'm sure any of the places will take credit card and probably will ship direct to you if you pay for shipping up front. If not we can probably work that out too. (FYI first spot I looked at even took pay pal).

and it would also be 110v and not 220. I have sent an email to see if they do 220v. if they do i wouldnt mide buying a few.

Okay, I looked, GreatLakes has already hit my next point, the filter is going to have a very low O2 level, so is not going to be very efficient. Only you can tell if the UG elements will have sufficient capacity as I do not have the details.

well after finding this out im going to add a type of air trap in the second filter with all the bio ceramic tubes. this will then get an air tube placed into it and 1/4 of the tank will be filled with air pumped into it.
this should give enough O2 to the bio ceramics.
