European Fish Aquarium

What is good european species for the aquarium I say 30 gals to 100 gals? Plus I don't want larger minnow species but like smaller species such as gudgeon but I know there's more than pinned topic post.

I think most small freshwater native fish species are protected by the law from the aquarium trade, a third of all the uk's native fish species are going extinct, soo... There are plenty of sub-tropical to coldwater fish which can in a tank of 30 to 100gallons, although i don't know of any such UK fish species available in the hobby.
