Estuarine Flounders

Some of you call flounders "Freshwater Flounders", however from my research these are not actually freshwater, they are flounders that can live in Saltwater/Brackish or Freahwater setups. Well, the ones I found at the store anyway. Fianally! After about a year of searching for a store that sells flounders, I find one store that sells them! But quite a high price at $20AU for one that is about 3-4cm in length! But I have a few question on them before I go git' me one tommorow.

1. How big do they get?
2. What is their temperament?
3. How fast do they grow?

Well i bought one for £3 ages ago but it disapeared. Bu hee is wot i know about them:

They can get to 15cm (i think)

They aren't really bothered by other fish (most fish ignore them)

Other than that i don't know much about them, Sorry!

P.s. I recently saw ome for £8 in a shop near me they were quite big (about 4 inches)

They just hide under the sand at the bottom of the tank and feed on scraps. You should make sure it eats because otherwise it might starve to death.

I just bought one. The sign said they can get up to 5 inches. I just spent $5 US on one that is D-I-N-K-Y. Lil bugger is going to be easy to lose in the sand. I heard they like meaty foods, and no I don't know speciffacally what that means.

I went to the only lfs that had them that was quite far, and just my luck they where sold out, but I am going again this week to hope they are there. It is the ONLY place that has them. Although, I was not sure if I should get one or not. I like ray-like creatures as I cannot own saltwater rays until I have good filtration, a protein skimmer and a HUGE tank. So I'll stick to knifes and soles for now. I'll let y'all know when I get em' and tell you how it goes.
