Anyone else using the EI method for fertilizing their plants?

I have done in the past, and will be on a new setup I am doing soon, it’s a good method just a bit tedious to get right

Estimative Index is fine for plant-only tanks, but when fish are present this is a risk. I went into this in detail with a couple marine biologists once when I was having a problem in one tank and I was adding more plant fertilizers than I actually needed for the plants and I discovered how these can negatively impact fish over time.
