I have a 13g. evry one sez my tank is 2 small or my fish. but all my fish are tiny!! most my fish 1 inch-less. only bigger fish= shark, betta.(around 3-5cm)

2 brittlenose catfish 1cm each
2 sucking loaches 2.5 cm each
1 betta 4 cm
1 red tailed black sark 5 cm
12 neon tetras 1 cm each
5 guppys 2 cm each
4 swordtails 3cm each

Yes, you are.

For newbies, such as yourself, it is best to use the one-inch rule until you do more research and get more experience. Plus, you have to start off with 2-3 and then increase the number of fish gradually.

Oh boy, where to begin? Your 2 loaches will grow to be around 10" given enough time. The red tailed black shark will grow to around 6", and is not a community fish. My guess is that it will tear into the betta first. The 2 bristlenose will get to 4 or 5 inches. The guppys & swords with a bristlenose would be fine as would the neons with a bristlenose. Beyond that you are way overstocked. What kind of filtration are you running, and how long has the tank been running for?

Absolutley too small, you have been told right.

Sucking loaches? Are these Chinese Algae Eaters? Your fish may be small now but they have a lot of growing to do yet, should they have the chance. Fish will become stunted in too small condtions, meaning their bodies cannot grow because of the size of their surroundings. Their organs grow and they become crushed inside their stunted body.

by the time they grow up the tank will be extremely overstocked, i'd say pick 1 or 2 of the smaller species to keep in thet tank

Whatever you do, don't type in all CAPS. There is no need to "yell" at the poster, plus it's hard to read.

The shark will be fine initially, its generally as they grow older that they become more agressive and may be a danger to other fish.

In general though, I think now is the time to start returning some of your fish, or else start buying a couple more tanks for them if you really want to keep them all. You can get away with keeping your current stock if you do very regular (like daily or every two days) water changes and feed very lightly. However some of those fish grow fast and will rapidly grow to large for your tank, so it's just the best idea to start re-homing them now, either to the store(s) you bought them from or new tank(s).
