Hello! I recently moved some juvenile epiprenmums outside, and they have grown slightly larger leaves with more variegation.
I am wondering what is the best method to make them start to use aerial roots to climb.
I will post pictures tomorrow. currently they are on bamboo poles
1. will they climb on drywall with paint? and does the air humidity have to be high in order to do so?
2. will they climb on a poor mans moss pole made with cloth and wet dirt? I plan to use a method similar to air layering but on a long pole instead. I may also stab holes in the fabric.
3. maybe they are still too young? and how big do the leaves have to be before they start to climb?
