Heh... no I'm not describing myself :p . I had the ferrets in the kitchen for playtime earlier today and thought I'd take some pictures. My personal favourite was one of Ben, who is a sandy hob and just under a year old. This means that he's gigantic and chubby because it's first winter... all ferrets tend to look more like badgers in size on their first winter. He's my biggest ferret and he weighs about 3kg I think. Total porker! Anyway, here is Ben sat upside-down on my lap like the chubby chap that he is...

Well cute pic.

just needs a hamburger & a baseball cap to finish!!

Oh say can you see.................

Haha... thanks! Bless him, he's such a naughty little ferret too. He thinks it's hilarious to nip my toes and run off making little chattering noises. I have a small puncture on the pinkie toe of my left foot from where he grabbed it and decided to drag it away. He wasn't quite allowing for the fact that the toe is attached to a foot which is attached to a leg, but he kept trying to drag it nonetheless. Haha... I lifted my foot and he was just dangling there. He's still very young though, so he'll probably mellow a bit with time. Most youngsters are a bit over-zealous... they forget that human skin is much thinner than ferret skin!
I do try to correct him when he bites too hard by lifting him up to my face and telling him off. It's so hard to be annoyed though because he just has the funniest little vacant expression on his face all the time.

Thankyou! I laughed so hard when I saw what the picture I had taken actually looked like... usually the ferrets move around so much when they come indoors for playtime that any photos come out blurred. I was obviously just lucky with this picture!
Thanks for nominations! I'll put it in the January one, since I think it's a bit late for the December contest now ^_^
