Energy Saving Fluorescent Lights?

As I'm getting a 6.5ft tank this weekend I have had a look at expected engery costs. The greatest of all are the 4 6ft fluorescent UV light tubes.

Do any companies sell energy efficient lighting that remains good enough to promote plant growth in the aquarium/.

I don't expect there to be but I thought I'd try!

Dont get any cheaper !!!!! Use electronic ballusts for max savings Unless you use the Sun
