Hello all! I have a question about my cory's behavior. I have six bronze corys in a 37 gallon tall tank with a sandy bottom and lots of water sprite. I have a powerhead shooting a stream of water across the middle of my tank, from the back right to the front left corner. My corys love to swim up and down in the corner into the water jet. Is this normal behavior? Just kinda curious about how they like to act. I had heard that they normally love to relax and be chilled out. Thanks for any info : )

hi im no expert but i have recently purchased 6 bronze corys for my 200litre sandy tank after having only pepperds in my other tanks ,i have noticed the bronzes swim about much more they seem to have way more energy and they also love the bubbles from the air outlet, i thought this was maybe because they were nervous ,exploring new tank or just young but now i think theyre just more lively as always on the move .
the 2x pepperds in my 64litre are constantly breeding and always stay near front of tank ,while the 2x pepperds in hubbys tank are very skitish .
also noted if you make a dip in the substrate they love to sit in it so if you had a dip at back of tank they would hardly come away from it ,so i always make a low area for them at front ..

hope this helps x kaz x
