Well the topic says it all, i'm just wondering if this type of fish is really rare, and/or whereabouts i would be able to find some. i think they are just beautiful and would love to get some and breed them, their colours are amazing! ~dEx :*

I have seen males sold in stores a few times. Never any females. If I could find them I would most likely buy a pair. :(

I have seen young endler's sold as feeders around here. Very cute but often mistaken for something else. I have never actually seen any sold as endler's.

Auratus,
Alot of the feeder that look like endlers are common guppies.

these are great little fish...i now have 18, one female gave birth last night to five more little ones. I got them from the petfish.net stock shop, clint is the guy that ships them..but not in the winter, if you dont mind waiting check that site in the spring and he will mail them to you. Its well worth it, you know you are getting pure breds through him....the ones sold as feeder fish are normaly crossbred with guppies......but you really should only have pure breds...thats the way to go! :D

I have lots of Endlers. Black stripe, red and green and some with baby blue; All appear to be doubleswords, some have very short bottom swords; "typical" Endlers.

Let me know, but DO NOT house with guppies!!!
