I'm redoing my 10 gallon, it has black sand in it and a black background. I plan to put same plants in it too. Anyway can I put some Endler's Livebearers in it and some neon tetras, if so how many of each?

The neon's may nip but it's usually 1 or 2 naughty fish that dose the damage.

I'll just stick to endlers but that just me.

6-8 fish and loads of fry.....

Agreed. Tetras are active little fish and really need more space than a 10 gal can provide. Stick with your Endlers + maybe some pygmy catfish and a few shrimp.

man those endlers have a short lifespan. :

I'm leaning toward 3 Endler's (2 males and a female) + 3 red cherry shrimp + something else (I'm open to suggestions, I want something compatible with the other two fish and I want it to look good with black sand and a black background)

A couple albino cories perhaps?

Also If I go with endler's and red cherry shrimp, how many of each can I get?

if you get only 3 endlers you will want a trio of all males or 1 male 2 females. i would say 6 endlers would be a decent sized group with 3 cherry shrimp. or if you want afew other fish you could get a trio or 6 endlers plus the cherry shrimp and at the very least 3 cories or ottos. another option is that you could get a trio of endlers, a trio of rosaboras or tetras, a trio of ottos, and i dont know what the shrimp would add to your bio load but i don't see why you cant still have afew of them. with the tetras or rosaboras you will want to watch them for nipping. iv got a trio of black neon tetras in with my guppies and they are just fine together.

Ok, so here's my stock list:

3 Endler's (3 Males)
3 Red Cherry Shrinp
5 Corys (I already have 2, they are about 6 months old + 3 albino Corys)
5 Black Skirt Tails (which are like 10 months old)

So would this be an OK list for a 10 G aquarium? I am flexible on the population of Cory's and Black Skirt tail (however I want at least 2 of each and if need be we can add an endler or two) So is this good?

Edit: Scratch the Black Skirt tails off the list:

3 Male Endler's
3 RCS
and 5 Corys

Is that a good list, would you add any to this list. I'm flexible of all 3 types, I will add to their numbers if I need to.
