Endler Fry

Hey everyone, trying to find a topic about it but couldn't find a thread. Sorry if I overlooked it.

Is it ok to mix different ages of fry? One of my endlers has just given birth (her first six babies

)

I have a second endler however who doesn't seem to be to far off. Would it be ok to add her to the same hatchery and then move her back?
I'm not sure if she might try to eat them, (although from what I've read it's ok (with the 'must not massacre my kids' hormone) or could the older fry consider them snacks?

My 4 month olds don't mess with my 3 week olds but my 3 week olds go for the new fry. The adults sometimes (including new mom fish) go for new fry. And sometimes don't even bat an eye at them and they survive on their own in my 50 gallon.

Just watch when you merge fish and adjust accordingly really.
