Emperor Tetra

Hi,

I recently found a pet store that had several full grown what the owner called "Emperor Tetra's" They had a black/purple body with a yellow horitzontal bar and Yellow fins. Very Beautiful.

Has anyone had the Royal Emperor tetra and is it truly that much more beautiful than the other. To give you some reference, I used to like Neon Tetra's and then I saw the Cardinals. I quickly bought 50 of them and I have never looked at Neon's again.

I don't think palmeri is that much better then kerri. Whatever, I wouldn't dream of buying anything else until you've sorted your stocking levels out.

I have 3 55 gallon tanks ready to go for everything and I am getting a new 92 bow front as well this week. It's a temporary situation I just moved into a house. I looked at 210 gallons this weekend but decided to hold out until I find a 240.

Any thoughts on the emperor's

I would get the emperors if I were you, I don't know about your LFS, but to where i'm from(ontario) emperors are hard to come bye..... well maybe it's just me and my bad luck cause everytime i go and look for them they are either sold out or don't have them....I would get some rummynose tetras too to mix with the cardinals, your bowfront would look amazing if you have huge shoals of cardinals, emperors and rummys....
