I set this up how it was supposed to be but it is making an annyoing sound. Any ideas what this could be and how to fix it???

Please help before I go nuts, its in my bedroom...

It's sounds like the impeller is going bad. I had that go bad on mine, just replace it and you will be good to go. I paid less them $10 for it and it's easy to do.

It does sound like it has to do with the impeller.

However, although it may be going bad, it may be a couple of other things, namely...

* There could be a grain of something, or a snail shell in there. This will most likely cause a serious grinding noise.
* It could be a trapped air bubble (fairly common when first setting one up). This causes a lighter grinding, almost a "gargling" noise.
* The impeller may just be incorrectly seated.

It was the impeller and I have it running silent now. thanks for the help.
