well you were right buddy these anemones are dying off problem is they are getting themselves into places that i cant get to them without dismantling the tank :/ ( they are all dead now in stupid places- and i put getting them out off as i was too busy)

also the pink one has died.. it was a totally different type why?

what do i need to do?
( did post yesterday on the other site but it was in my diary as i couldnt find the emergency bit :( )

i really am genuinly stuck as to what to do next..

shelagh

Shelagh, post on the one I told you about, there is some experience with these on there I believe.

Need to get them out badly, they will muck with water chemistry.

cheers Tina, im still being validated on that one :/

as there dying i dont suppose it matters how i get them out.. ill do my best x x

Shelagh pet...try to suck em out with a syphon hose..then check yer water params as there may be summit gone over the edge there

im in the process of trying.. didnt think of the hose.. i could cry.. im not jokin.. being a busy mum of 7 leaves me no time ..sometimes ( just when i need it) if this all goes fataly wrong im gonna boot my own backside sooooooo hard..

Shelagh, calm down chuck, grab a g&t if you need to, breathe, and don't blame yourself, you bought the tank with this stocking.

Then go back to it, recruit one or two of the kids if you need to.

Don't forget you can use a pump to gget the water back in.

shelag this may sound silly but coud you bend a net up and get them i also had this worry a few months back with my anemmone but mine turned out to be alive just stick at it when you can

well done my ( our) best.. managed to get the rock out ( luckily was smaller bits that side) and use a fat piece of filter hosing to catch...8.. we think!
everything alive( were about 3) and dead that we could find are now out

that was an excellent idea buddy... wasnt pretty, but its done.. will test the water in the morning ( no point in me doing it now as nothing i can do about it anyway :/ )

thanks for satying calm on my behalf Tina.. your a star :)

thanks all ill let you know what the test results are in the morning :)

Thats good Shelagh.

You probably won't test a problem straight away, morning should be OK.

When you take the kids to school, get what you need to and prepare everything you need ready.

Then more deep breaths before starting. Its how I do things, its agony for me, so I have to talk myself into doing stuff. :good:

Oh heck Shelagh, that is a shame but unfortunately probably inevitable, not your fault - so, you have managed to get all the dead ones out, 8 phew  are there any left alive, is the other nem gone as well?

Think it really is down to two things:

Beadlets are not tropical species and your tank although mature became unstable in the move and with the new rock. Anyways, we learn by these things and move on...................

Try to do a large water change as soon as possible
Drink a large amount of alcohol, breath..................

and start again :good:

Seffie x

yes seffie the pink one died too :( nevermind.
so far as i can see there arnt any left, but i`ll be keeping a close eye on it and grabbing any i do find
i`ll do a WC tommorow.. the staff at MHA are gonna think im drinking the water

only wish id acted sooner to get them out. a lesson learnt indeed.
