EMERGENCY SWORDTAIL DISSAPEARED

THIS MORNING SHE WASW STILL HERE BUT NOW SHE IS GONE! HAVE A INTERNAL CANISTER FILTER AND 75 GALLON UNDERSTOCKED WITH GUPPIES AND ANOTHER MALE SWORDTAIL PLEASE HELP

Swordtails have the ability to jump out a tank. It happened to me once too. Check everywhere around the tank. Is there anything that may have scared her?

she was on the floor, on the brink of death. when i put her back in she slowly recovered and now she can kind of swim. put her in my old 15gal. should i treat with melafix because she was on a dirty floor?

Glad to hear she made it. I didn't treat my swordfish after I put him back in, I suppose you could treat her if it makes you feel better. She might have clamped fins and be inactive for a while but tomorrow she could be back to normal. I wouldn't do anything else with the tank until tomorrow at least to reduce stress on her.
