Taken from my Juwel Rio 125 hi-tech planted tank.

I've only had the camera for a day, a Canon EOS 10D. I've long way to go before reaching its potential.

Fantastic photo george :good: and very healthy beautiful fish :D How's the tank coming along?

Thanks. I'm spoilt with fish choice, as my LFS is Maidenhead Aquatics, Crowland. One of the best shops for FW tropicals in the UK.

The tank is coming along nicely. You can see its progress on the PFK blogs. There's on every week covering the tank's progress.

Here's a fairly recent photo. Excuse the poor image quality.

Yeah MA in crowland is great, have only been there twice but it's definately the only place I shall be buying fish from, it's worth the 20 min drive :D

Have been reading the blogs on PFK, as I said on there your tanks really are an inspiration and are just so amazing, have been crying to my OH that I need alot more money for equipment, ferts etc so I can attempt something half as good as what you manage so now he dreads the mention of your name(or anyone / anything to do with aquascaping in general) as he knows it means £££

Recently got some ember tetras myself. The shop colours are totally different to their colouration once I got them home I found!

as with most fish, once home and settled they are far better looking. :)

what a great pic George :good:
if we still had FOTM I'd nominate you

Thanks.

I think my wife is worried I've began another road to obsession - photography!

I am lucky to be mates with Neil Hepworth, the PFK pro photographer. He's giving me some lessons in the New Year.

Totally agree, my gold corys or c.melanotaenia look completely different to the ones they have in MA, mine are far more colourful :)

Lucky you! Can't imagine how fantastic your pics will be after having lessons from a pro, although to me your pics look very professional.
