Embedding Youtube Clips Onto Forum Posts

Hi guys,
I'm a video clip novice when it comes to adding them to forum posts. Is it normal for forum users here to not be able to embed the clip into the post, rather than just a link being left? The exact same "code" does embed at another forum, so I'm guessing it is a limitation of this forum.
