Here are my two little monsters. :D

Elmo and Ernie, they like to talk away to each other, eat, poop, fly about and annoy Lynz (especially when they sing early in the morning

Cute! *except for the poop eating part  *
I wonder why animals feel the need to do that???

I have parakeets too. I have 2 green ones and one white one. I hate when they poop on me when I carry them. I think they do that because they want to annoy me. -_- . But I guess they can't control there poop.

Because it's usually full of uneaten/undigested seeds and they don't look at it the same way we do..to them (animals) if it smells like food it must BE food.

That's why dogs will often eat horse and cow poop..because of the uneated sweetfeed/oats/grain/ect. that just travels through the body; because the shell was never broken and thus it was not ever digested.

lol ok science lesson over...cute birds!

heh heh, my rabbit does that ^
He's really very good about using the litter box, but on occasion one pops out as he's hopping across the floor. He always stops, turns around like "oops, I'll get that! Nothing to see here!"

Beautiful birds  We were thinking of getting one for Christmas, but we're not ready :/

it is not normal for budgies to eat poop. bird poop does not contain visible bits of seeds because parrots hull their seeds. it cant do a budgie any good eating its own poops because the white part is made up of crystals of uric acid.

nice budgies by the way. :)

Can I just point out that there is a coma after "eat" then "poop" comes after. If they ate poop it would read "eat poop" not "eat, poop".
And just for the record Dave hasn't seen his birds eat poop. :S
