Elephant Nose

hey
i dont no if anyone can help me on this my elephant nose for the past 2months keeps going round in circles then sort of puts his head towards the gravel and spins with his tail up and goes round and round like a mad thing?!?!?! any reasons why he is doing this?

he is searching for food.
elephant noses use their proboscus to dectect the electrical signals given off by
their prey. the also utalise smell but to a lesser degree.

ideally you should have a sand substrate as gravel can, and often does, scratch the
nose and that could lead to a fatal infection.

thanks for the advice
i thought that at first
but even when food is out he does it
ive had him 8months now and its only been the last 2months he has been doing it
he doesnt go in the gravel he does it above the gravel or on the plants or in the water. lol
he looks crazy!! any other ideas?
