okay well today i traded in two clown loaches for an elephant nose and just earlier was thinkin about the electric charge or whatever they make using their tail. i have a ruby shark with this elephant nose and thought sharks are susceptible to electric charges because of their sensory glands or something.
is it a good idea to have both fish in the same tank ?

thanks

Dont worry the shark is not a true shark and being a Cyprinid is actually closer related to goldfish than sharks.
The only trouble you may have is if the RTBS sees the elephant nose as possible competition for territory and attacks it.

the shark never seems to attack the elephant nose, just follow it's tail around and then every so often spazz out as if it's been shocked or whatever and then the poor shark darts off.
i think i may have to take the ruby shark back  i always have a problem with sharks
