Electric yellows

i have 1 electric yellow that looks exactly like this it has faint stripes.
but ive seen other EYs that look like this, the color on this one is so beautiful, is there a way that i can get mine to look like that?

i've had a few that for some reason started out looking like that,after a while they colored up.how many do you have?do you only have the one that looks like that?how your water ph ammo are they all good?

i have 1 EY, about 2 inches(been in my tank for 5 dyas), in a 30G 'extra' long tank that has a ph of 8.2, amm 0.5 (droppin rapidly) and nitrite of 0. i really want it to look like the colourful yellow(no stripes) one.

and also, i feed it vegetable granuels, flakes and the occasional vegetable.

I have 3 - 2 of which are bright yellow and the third has dark stripes down iit's side. When I got them I thought they were two females and one male, but now that they are mature, I reckon I've got 3 males. Unfortunately I haven't got room in the tank for any females, but they don't seem to fight a lot, maybe coz they grew up togher. ANyway, I've no idea why one has stripes - it eats the same as the others.
