has any had a electric eel before or know any fact's about one i dont want to get one,but they interst me.

They will occasionally come up for sale in shops, though they shouldn't as they are not for all but the most extreme of hobbyists.

Baensch lists them as getting to 7 feet long, and they can produce a shock of 600V (forget the ampage though).

pretty cool fish, though not one many people will have kept.

cool one of my not so lfs has one and i thought what a cool fish so i wanted to learn more about it even though i'm not getting it, but if did get a electric fish it would be a electric catfish.
