electric blue X eureka red

has anyone crossed these before? my male elec blue and female eureka red have just breed. i know diffent species of peacocks interbreed but not sure bout a elec blue cross peacock. first i'll see if there firtile then have to wait a bit to see what they look like i guess.

accually i think their the same fish, just differant colors. im looking around online and it appears that they can be crossed with little problem if u know what your doing.

Eureka red is an Aulonocara (peacock) while electric blue is a Sciaenochromis (hap) so they are certainly not the same fish. The cross is a possibility, but it's not about knowing what you're doing - most people who attempt such things don't know what they're doing, but the fish actually do the work so it often happens anyway.
