Ehiem White Slim?

Hi

I have had my ehiem 2026 set up 3 weeks and the inlet and outlet have white slim build up in the tubes if u press them it flakes off and enters the tank! what is this stuff?

whatever it is dont let it get into the tank. if you can stop the filter, take the pipe off and wash it out. and then re install it.

Sounds like hard water or mineral buildup. Fresh or salt tank?
