hi i have just replaced my internal filter with a ehiem classic, the only problem is that it is to powerfull,i have it at the top of my tank and it moves all the sand at the front of the tank, i have tried slowing it down using the cut of valves on the hoses but the filter starts making a noise. can anyone recomend anything?
thanks

You can try one two things. Try the first first. Either try to face the spray bar to the back of the tank wall. Or buy this outlet. I changed this on my 2213 (which blasted my fish and plants around) and now it's ultra gentle.

If you are using a spray bar just make the holes bigger.

If you don't have a spray bar get one and follow the above!

Try putting a hard ornament such as a cave or something on top of where the hole is in the sand. That way there is not hole because it is hitting a hard surface.

Yep, thats the Eheim installation kit 2. It's around £14. Its a very comprehensive kit. Well worth the money.
