Can anyone explain why the floss and carbon in the manual shows this on the top? When water flows in from the bottom?

Just want to make sure I have it in the right way lol or does it not realy matter?

the "floss" goes on top yes, as filter slowly reduces bigger parts as goes up the filter,

Indeed, as if it passes through the floss first, it would become clogged very quikly and need constant cleaning. Personly I put mine 2nd from top, nio-media being the very last in the stage and I have about 1-2" of floss
