Ehiem 2026 Hum Gettin Worse!

Hi

I have had my filter nearly a week now and after complaining to the suplier of this filter he put me onto john allen aquariums about it and all he did was blame me for an incorrect prime!

Well I got back onto my supplier to see about sorting it out and he has orderd a new impeller wich is on its way!

I just noticed tonight the hum is WORSE!!


Ive primed the thing 10 times in the correct way shoke it till no air is in even tiped the thing upside down!

There no way this filter is goin to quieten down!!!! Ive cheaked the shaft and bearings impellor with not a sign of damage!

Im really thinking ive got a bad motor unit! OR IVE BEEN SCREWED OVER!

you should see if they will swap it

don't swap, give it time and replace a few parts!!!!!!!!!

after everyone saying there 2026's were silent i was disappointed with mines when i first got it, it wasn't at all silent, i posted about it on here and was told to give it a few weeks, i did and they were right, after a few weeks it was silent and has been since November 2006.
