Hi, I was wandering if the water inside the wet/dry floater compartment is supposed to replace itself or not because i never see the water level moving past the outlet whole on the top of the compartment. Also, is the out take pipe supposed to spray bubbles out along with the water? Thanks in advance

the water level in the outer chamber should be constantly emptying/refilling.
it should empty quite slowly, then the float should drop, then after a minute or two, it should refill again.
the output from the filter should be high while it is emptying, and very low once the float drops.
there shouldn't be any air coming out of the pipe, check all your connections and re-prime the filter.

it is important for this filter to be at the right height below your tank, otherwise it wont work properly.

sounds like the filter isn't at the right height. I had to stand mine on a couple of phone books to get the Wet/Dry action going! Check the height against the manual and make sure it is within the limits otherwise it won't work properly

the out put flow does raise n lower but there are lots of continuos bubbles that comes out of the pressure side. I regret not buying the installation kits 1 and 2 cuz the stuff it came with is kinda ugly n i couldnt use the spray bar because i dont have an elbow to swing it around to suction it to the back wall without having a big piece of tubing inside. I want to post sum pics for u but im not sure how to upload pics from the pc to tff.

I have tried everything to get this thing workin n it still isnt working. I have changed the reducer, cut n made sure all the tubing is the same legth, n anything else u can think of. N my filter still isnt working.
