Eheim filter

hey i have a brand new tank and set up.. should i be able to feel the filter sucking a little the spray bar is spraying water out. but i dont seem to feel any suction?? any idea anyone thanks

My Eheim Pro II 2026, it does feel like there's no suction when the cover is on so larger particles can't get through but if you take that off and just feel the tube there is definitely suction.

It seems to work good though because any sand that gets in falls into a little curve at the bottom of the intake screen.

Which filter do you have, and what size is your tank?

So long as there is water coming out from the spray bar at a reasonable rate, you have noticed no reduction in this flow, and your water parameters are stable, this filter is working.
