eheim filter

i have an Eheim Aquaball 2210 Internal filter, in a 3ft tank. is this a good filter for my tank?? also how often do i have 2 clean it and how would i clean it?? ( i mean, using tap water or tank water)

in my tank i have 4 catfish and thats it because my other fish died of ich recently

2210 is very small internal filter. It works ok, when tank is small. Your tank is about 100 liters? It's not so bad idea to put another filter opposite corner too and then you can easily wash them at different times - alternate. And yes, you can wash the filter under the tap-water and you need to wash it seems to be a little bit blocked - I mean, when water current is much slower than normally.
