Eheim Ecco 2236 - Spray Bar?

Hi all, was just wondering if a spray bar can be fitted, or is suitable, for this filter?

I thought they came with a spray bar for the return?

Nope, this one didn't - it was new but bought it on ebay (eek!). Instructions didn't mention it though. Only reason I thought of it was that the plants down the output end of the tank are getting a bit blown about and I remembered seeing posts on here re spraybars. Just an idea really, the harlequins and lemon tetras seem to like the fast current so if a no go, at least they're happy!

That model doesnt come with a Spray bar
Maybe if you contact Eheim direct they may be able to advise if one can be fitted?
Personaly i cant see why not. if you can find a spray bar to fit or maybe get some king of plastic pipe that fits and drill holes along the side and add a stopper?

i have a eheim ecco 2232??? i think

and i put the spray bar that came with my eheim professional on it and it seems fine (just the standard 16mm spray bar/ the green one)

I might have an Eheim spraybar and 'shepherds hook' plus hoses for sale soon. It's from a 2126 (I think). I bought a different Eheim kit for my filter so it's going spare. Unfortunately I won't be at home for a few weeks.
