Eheim Compact 1000 Tubing Size.

Hey guys.
I want to get a Eheim Compact 1000 for water changes, and apparently the hose size is 5/8" (16mm). If I were to get this size hose, would the hose stretch o over the nozzle, or would it fit snuggly inside the nozzle?

The hose would need an internal diameter of 16mm, and would push snugly over the fitting. Secure with a jubilee clip to ensure it doesn't slip off again
