thinking of getting one of these for my 35litre tank but would like to know if there any good,
so what experiences have you had with them?

I'm using the 2212 in my 90 litre Roma tank & I like it.

I like the fact you can select your own media for each of the chambers (I have noodles, course foam, substrat then fine foam in mine). I also like the ball head which lets you direct the output exactly where you want it. The thing I like most of all though is that if you move to a bigger tank you can just add a new container to the bottom, no need to buy a bigger filter.

what difference does that make... you will also need much more flow for a bigger tank.

According to Eheim, it has an adjustable flow rate to cover 45l - 200l capacity so you only need to add additional media baskets if you upsize your tank.
